I come home at night, turn it on, nothing, will not heat. I did manage to get it to work tonight temporarily by switching the main power off wait a min, switch back on. It worked normally for approx. 1 hour before not heating again. Any ideas? the technician visits when my wife and I are at work, father in law opens up for him, lets him do his thing and he leaves. He said he adjusted the sensor today. Any ideas please? Just on the air coming from the vents, it feels dry but not warm. This however only lasted 20mins before again it stopped heating. I am not very familiar with Daikin units, but usually the wired remote controls do display error, without manual checking for it. Secondly the temperature reading is also important as stated by rcbarber. Maybe a defective thermistor? It has however worked last night since I flipped the main power, maybe the old turn it on and off again trick has worked (what we do in IT). Let me know what happens after he visits next, im intrested lol.Exactly the same issue here. Please refer to similar threads: After 2 winters 12 service callouts and daikin replacing countless parts, re-gasing etc they have agreed to replace the indoor and outdoor units, but will not extend the warranty, ie 6 months warranty left. They are replacing with the new model - rzq125kcv4a.Because there are a few of us, I now believe its a design fault. Please keep in touch and let us know how you are going. Sounds like its out of warranty.http://elateridae.com/images/FCKeditor/eureka-forbes-easy-clean-vacuum-cleaner-user-manual.xml

If it is, then I don't like your chances of getting this fixed. Speak to Consumer Affairs. Regardless of the warranty, they are supposed to be of 'merchantable quality' for a 'reasonable' amount of time. If they do happen to fix it, it would be great to know exactly what they did. I really hope you don't have to go through what I did.good luck. Cheers. Manufacturer Model Description Kelvinator KSD50HRG 5.0kW Inverter High Wall Hung Split Kelvinator KSD70HRG 7.00kW Inverter High. That’s if you want to be able to use your air conditioner when you want it. Most Australian homes would not have a 5kw in any bedroom. These are the systems you want ON during peak times. That’s what PEAKsmart is. It can be turned down and even off, most likely during PEAK times. Here’s a comparison. They promise they won’t do it much of course, only during peak times. Stay away from peaksmart. Peaksmart air conditioners The arguments in favour of the peaksmart scheme: Peaksmart Air Conditioners are perhaps the most misunderstood concept in this industry. As an installer, it was a little while before I fully understood it. The concept is that Australia’s power grid is built to handle X amount of current at any given time. Upgrading it comes at an enormous cost. There’s always ongoing work to upgrade power distribution, but it can only be done at a certain speed. A speed not fast enough to keep up with all the new appliances and estates being buiilt. The Electricity grid rarely conducts its full rated capacity. For example if the mains to your house are rated at 63 amp, quite common in QLD, it would be less than once a year you are actually drawing that amount. It would be less than 1 full day a year you are drawing above 50 amps. Split system electricity usage To upgrade all those cables for the odd occasion when 80 amps is needed is a waste. A balanced and even distribution is more cost effective. An air conditioner when it’s cooling or heating a room draws X amount of power. When it’s achieved the desired temperature, the new inverter type will slow down, relax and run at idle speed of 20. It can then ramp up to 80 or 100, when air escapes and the temperature rises, then back down to 20 after the door is closed again. The Split system air conditioner is a unique appliance in its ability to behave intelligently as above. In recent years the push has been on to reduce the power consumption for all appliances. This is where Peaksmart comes in. The device attaches to your split system wiring. It won’t be visible or accessible. When a frequency jump is received by the unit it tells the air con not to run above 50 capacity This won’t even be noticed by those who have had their AC on for a while, because the air conditioner is already just idling. It will only be noticed by those attempting to run theirs at the initial 100 cool down mode. To summarize, most of the time you won’t even notice if they have turned the peaksmart up or down, depending on your usage patterns, but effectively you are handing over the keys to your new air con for the life of the unit. Would I peaksmart my own air con. Peaksmart no longer available for bedroom Air Con If you work standard daytime hours like most people, a peaksmart in a bedroom air conditioner shouldn’t be noticed at all. The bedroom system when run correctly with the door closed keeps your sleeping room cool very easily. After just a few minutes the split will be running at only 20 of capacity. It won’t matter what Energex does. Most excellent sleeping temperature won’t be affected at all. Peak power periods occur during the day, rarely the night, and as such it’s likely never to affect your bedroom air conditioner. Ignore that whole paragraph. Peaksmart promotion ended on bedroom units in 2019 Peaksmart installed on a living room Air Con Pretty much just take what’s written above and invert it. It is during the daytime that Energex is more likely to use the peaksmart facility. Again, if your system has been running for half hour and the rooms at a nice temperature, you won’t notice. However, if you’ve been out, come home, especially if you come home from work at 4,5 or 6 pm. That is exactly the peak period. This is when your peaksmart is most likely going to be active. Your 7kw air con is now a 3.5 and got buckleys of cooling your home. This is for the life of the unit. It will be the hottest days of the year when they are most likely to use their Peaksmarts. There’s no such thing as free money. You know that, unless you are employed by the Australian Government. Peaksmart installed on a rental property Get it done. Your tenants aren’t going to know if its installed or not. May as well take the free cash and put it towards the capital gains, GST, council rates, or stamp duty the government thinks they’re entitled to. The tenants will flog the air con anyway, the peaksmart will limit the device and it will last longer. Centre of Gravity Optional Accessories Installation. FDYQ(N) Installation. It starts icing up from the top right hand side, near the exponsion valve. Valve iced up as well. Note heater is at the bottom of coil on drip tray. Ice build up on back of coil so looking on coil when walk in freezer the front is clear of ice. Then it work its way to the front of coil. By this time temp drop from -18 -10 and below.Drip time defrost cycle ect. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks guys. A bit of history first. There was a building with a number of outdoor units (7 I think) all connected to a G50 and procon BMS modbus. They decided to build a wall down the middle of the office and split the City Multi systems between the two sides. My job was to take three of the outdoor units off the existing system, install an AG-150 and recommission. I disconnected the central controller connections at the three outdoor units and ran a new cable, daisy chaining the three units and connecting to my new AG-150. When I commissioned the system all seemed to be working well. Fast forward a couple of months and new tenants move into the office. I get a call to say that two of the controllers are turning off of their own accord and one of the controllers has 'CENTALLY CONTROLLED' flashing on the screen and does not allow any of the buttons to be used. My first thought was that there is something wrong with either the central controller or one of the outdoor boards and the central controller is migrating the issues to the other units. I went back to the three outdoor units and disconnected CN52 (central controller) at the outdoor board. I carried out a virgin restart on each outdoor unit and set them up as individual standalone systems, the theory being I could see where the problem was originating from. That day the only problem with any of the systems was that RC106 turned itself off. I left them alone for another day (today) to see what, if anything, would happen. All three systems ran without any issues up to about 14:00, when it was noticed that RC102, RC106 and RC112 all had centrally controlled on the screen and did not allow any of the buttons to be used. I cannot understand what is linking still linking these three systems together. I thought the only way systems could be linked together was through a central controller. Have I forgotten something or am I ignorant about some other way the MNET can be linked between the three systems? Any suggestions at all are very welcome. I'm completely out of ideas here. The installer provided MyCold AB68 oil, but there are some saying that is not the correct oil and could be the cause of some problems we've been experiencing. Can anyone please advise if that's an adequate lubricant or if we should be using something else. Thanks in advance. Wondering if anyone out there has an overhaul manual. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly apreciated.Could someone post the steps to pump down a carrier split system so I can replace the accumulator. I know it is done in the heat mode and probably is done just as to the condenser side but just in the reverse. Any things I should be aware of. I'm sure you won't get all the refrigerent out past the service valves this way. We're monitoring our thrust bearing temperature with a limit of 175 deg F as a temporary measure until we can get this fixed. Has anyone ever fixed one of these. I need to look up my carrier manual to see how hard this is going to be. We're concerned we could do more damage than good if we have to pull the stator to get to this device. We have the machine pumped down at present, so that isn't an obstacle. The S C T is normal but the D P is high, then it is not from scale or tower sprayers. So if I am thinking right it is ether over charge or non condensables. I will isolate the evap. Condenser and test temps. Your thoughts? thank you I have scoured the web looking for the info and haven't really found anything. Im off to look at it today as there is a problem with it. Thanks for your time It is now running at full pelt with an internal temperature of -35C. Any ideas how to remedy this problem. Although the freezer is running at -35C the display shows 0C. Hope you can help before the compressor blows out. Cheers Rich Evaporator was iced up. Once ice had melted I returned to check it, found a circuit through the defrost heater, gave it an independent supply and it heated. Let the cabinet run and checked the termination stat attached to the evap, no circuit through it. I was thinking this was the fault, ordered part and returned to fit, fitted it to find e4 still being displayed!! Any ideas?? (I brought the old termination stat away and checked it again - it is faulty!) Or maybe some one can give some details about this kind of compressors. Thank you and best regards Problem is that I also need to install a software from CD to PCB board. Does anyone have a experience with this kind of work? Thanks It turns on, blows air but its not heated air. Any ideas please? I’m suprised no one.
