Robert Potter 5.0 out of 5 stars I looked here and on the Bosch website, but the only thing I found was from Bosch Customer Service saying it doesn't fit. Contrary to what they say, the RA1054 does fit the DeWalt DW618 router just fine. The only thing you need is an M6 thumbscrew. I found a nice, black thumbscrew on Amazon (search for ASIN B07KVCKNG8) for the fixed base, and a little bit bigger one for the plunge base (search for ASIN B075QBXGJM). Note that the red thumbscrew does not fit the fixed base because it contacts part of the base - but the blacks come 10 to a pack, so unless you're crazy like me and like that red color, you'll have enough of the black for both bases.I recently decided to make a full bedroom suite for my little girl who is leaving her crib. I have always struggled with my router. I needed to do some mortise and tenon work on some huge boards, so I picked this up. What a game changer. This lets me use my plunge router with a level of comfort that wasn't there before. The guide is rigid and very intuitive to use. I took it out of the box and was cutting perfectly accurate mortises in literal minutes. It does have a bit more plastic than I'd like, but that hasn't proved to be an issue. Its weight is good, and the material that the fence is made from slides along wood nicely. Overall, I strongly recommend picking this up. It has helped me out big time.The guide came fully assembled, with the extra thumb screws and dust collector separate. Guide rods slid right into the router base and I used the 2 supplied black thumbscrews to affix the guide rods to the base. Received it and it fit perfectly out of the box to the router base. Adjustment, both for initial setup as well as fine tuning the guide are great and the 'zero' feature of the micro adjustment works perfectly. I did check out a host of other guides, some which ran three times the price of this one and could not see how they justify the price so I went with this one. If you look at other comments as well as the pic you will notice a set of threaded holes just to the inside of each of the guide rods used to attached it to the base of a router. More bang for the buck.It is made from quality components in a quality manner. You can adjust the edge guide in the most minute amount possible. I purchased this to use in conjunction with my Bosch 1617, and have used it in the manners above, as well as to make circular cuts. Yes, it will even assist you in making circle cuts and profiles. This also contains fittings to use with dust collection operations to keep your work site clean as well. It installs on the router quickly and easily. After that it is a matter of adjusting fence to position bit edge where desired. I would suggest starting on a scrap piece so any even microscopic adjustments, which are easily made with unit, can be made prior to routing final work piece. In the case of edge profiles, you could just as easily 'sneak up' on them instead. All in all this is a very well made tool that serves its intended use very well and I recommend it.The edge guide does what is required. Otherwise, the dust collection system is grossly inadequate. I used it while using a straight edge bit on a sheet of MDF. It did not make any noticeable impact in dust collection versus having to sweep up the work area when I did not use the attachment. I ask this because I have the plunge base for my DeWalt 611 Compact Router, and it has holes drilled for a similar sort of router guide. I would imagine that you could simply buy longer pipes for your DeWalt if reach was your main issue. 3) The spacing between pipe centers seems off to me. I hope this helps you in some way. Fabulous!I have had this table for 15months and I am giving up on it. I have two issues that plague my usage. First, the inserts do not sit flush with the plate. This results in inevitable movement whenever a smaller piece moves across the insert. Second, the fence doesn't secure well. It is incredibly frustrating to take the time to set it just right to do a set of identical cuts on several pieces, only to be able to tell that the cut has drifted during the process. I get burned by this time and time again. There's a lot of accessories with this table - from the feather boards to the bit height adjuster to the circle template - and the built-in storage pockets do an okay job of holding them all - they fit in nicely for shipping, but getting them all back in after use just didn't happen for me. A minor inconvenience considering it's a more than adequate, less than professional piece of equipment for the price. Great for the hobbyist, for sure.Also I did not get any large washers to put together the fence and feather boards (all my washers were the same size (small)) and do not work with setting up the feather boards to the fence. Therefore I cannot use them at all. I will have to go out and purchase washers that will work. The table does work with my Ryobi plunge router, but it is a little off center. I think I will be purchasing the fixed Bosch router that will align better and also adjust the bit level from the table top. Other than not having the large washers I am pleased with the cabinet style router table. I have used it several times during the week since I have purchased it. If Bosch sees this review maybe someone can send me out the correct washers so I can use the feather boards:)This is a really nice portable (but heavy) table with everything you need. It even has shims that you can place behind the out fence to use it as a jointer. The only two things that are slightly annoying are. 1) the tool storage in the legs is marginally too small.It's very easy to insert and remove the router when you want to go mobile.Installing it was a pain, and when they say don't overtighten the screws, well - you can't help it if the threads have for some reason already been screwed up. My back left screw head just spun from the get-go (and didn't tighten) and the plate adjuster is a pain until you get it. Taking the router out from beneath to change a bit really isn't as bad as some mention on Youtube and in reviews. Just know where the Router clicks and you'll be fine. A second set of hands for this process makes it that much easier.Contacted Bosch and still waiting for a response 2 months later, customer service.
