The t-bar occasionally needs to be calibrated, but this is an easy process. T-bar calibration is a normal maintenance issue with these type units. Instructions for T-bar calibration can be found on pages 66-67 of the owners manual which is available online. Please note the owner's manual is not included with the item. The case is in decent shape, maybe a 6 out of 10 rating (I'm pretty picky). It has scratches and road rash, but nothing that affects the function of the case. It still opens and closes with no problem. There is one noticeable spot on the case where there is like what paint rash (if that makes sense). But like I said, it functions perfectly.
