My negatives would be that the high chair does not stay folded and I have to put a bungee around it - although- with 6x daily use- it's not folded often. I would be curious if this is also just a specific defect to MY chair- and not typical of the unit itself.. something to definitely research more and Not deter you from purchasing. Also, once folded- it doesn't stand alone. I've scratched a few walls trying to get it to stay up while cleaning up the kitchen. Last- the wheels. The individual locks get stepped on quite frequently and are kind of annoying to unlock constantly. We have to move the chair around like a wheel barrow just to slide it over a few inches to get around it at the table. Such a small thing, but REALLY annoying.) This chair is great. The toy is adorable and close enough (because of the closer tray) for kids to actually USE COMFORTABLY. Pictures show the Chicco without the bar and the space of the the curved vs.We had Chicco high chairs for our others kids but he wanted this one because of the toy option. We should have just purchased the Chicco and used our own toys for our baby to play with. It's very flimsy and the crotch strap is the craziest thing ever. It doesn't come up between the legs, it's actually behind the back and then down the butt and then back up the front to latch it. It makes it really difficult to find the strap and the lead it into position to snap in. I would not recommend this high chair. Get the Chicco. The 3 position recline is great, and I love the fact that it adjusts to different heights. The padding could be wiped clean or taken off and thrown in the washer. It also has extra removable padding for smaller babies to keep their heads in place. The toy does entertain and clicks tight into place, while there is another toy that hangs off the side. There is a removable tray that can be used and easily washed. Wish we had this the first time around.I really like Fisher-Price products and have few other things from them but unfortunately for the high chair, I did not like the overall quality of it. The plastic is cheap and flimsy. While I was assembling, I noticed that one of the legs ends was bent. The tray and the back of the seat have scratch marks as if it was used. The writing on the tray is faded and the release button on the tray seems to be not properly assembled. Like I said, I always liked Fisher-Price products and have other things from them but this product didn't seemed like a good quality product for the money. I hope Fisher-Price response to the complain and do something about it otherwise I probably will return this chair back.However once I received it, I found it be of very low quality. Plastic is low quality and made with sharp edges which can actually hurt my little one. The tiger toy has black paint sprayed on it and the rest of the paint has no finish at all. The padding of the seat cover is so thin its not comfortable enough for a baby. Also the place where three straps meet from the behind is like a knot and is hard and can be felt through the padding. My baby was really uncomfortable when I made her sit on the chair. The strange thing is, so far all the fisher-price products I came across were so perfect I didn't have second thoughts when I ordered this chair, but now I am baffled. I lost my trust on the brand name. On a positive note its has nice features. (Which can not make up to the low quality of the built though.) I am just wondering whether I did receive an original Fisher-Price product or a counterfeit. BTW I am returning this chair. In a smallbut important note Amzon is great in their return policy.My baby loved it though. Used it since she turned 1 month. She loves the toy and had to use a cloth in front of the crotch stick to hold her more upright so the stick was very useful. The tray does not come with that stick so it is easier storage. Wish there was a spot at the back to hold the tray when not in use.They arrived the day after ordering them. The toy has lights and sounds. I highly recommend this product as it reclines for small infants and has height adjustments. You can take the tray off and pull the child up to the table. It's amazing! It really has been a good chair for our baby. The seat is easy to wipe down, the straps come off and on easily for washing, and the tray is washable in the dishwasher. The seat stays at the highest setting but can be lowered, and our daughter loves the included play toy that keeps her busy while we prepare food or get up from the table to do things. In fact, we have used the toy for almost a year with only 1 set of batteries. The little hanging toys are removeable for cleaning or when she won't leave them alone. All in all it does what we need. We use it on a hardwood floor and the locks on the wheels keep it sitting exactly where we want it. Seat reclines as well and tray has about 4 settings for baby as she grows. Overall a great buy. I love the adjustable heights, the toys, the tray, the easy fold option, etc. There are lots of great features with this high chair. Other reviews said this high chair was difficult to assemble. I didn't find it challenging. Took me about 45 minutes to assemble. There are a couple steps you may need to have another person support the unit while do a couple steps. My 6 year old helped support the unit, so I could do these steps it's nothing majorly difficult. I love this high chair. It's really nice. Overall a good value, with great features. I LOVE THIS HIGH CHAIR!!! I like the 5 point harness and the three positions that it can recline the second one i use the most. The material that the seat is made out of is washable and easy to put on and off same with the straps you can take them off and clean it if they get really dirty. The legs are very sturdy since i have a above average baby he's very tall and heavier than most baby the metal legs make me feel safe and secure that nothing will happen to him. The toys that come with the high chair my baby loves them he plays with them while me or my husband are getting dinner together and getting his food ready too.The only thing is that it was a little hard to put together use a little force or a drill it will be just fine. We had a healthy care highchair for our first son (9 years ago!) and loved it. Didn't think we were having anymore kids so sold it. Surprise! Anyway, 2 friends had given us 2 diferent highchairs which my son hated. The first was a beautiful wooden one; looked nice but very uncomfortable. The second one had a very thin padding, agian very uncomfortable. My son would not sit in these for more that 3 minutes. The healthy care highchair is so comfortable; awesome padding, an extra head support pad for the little ones. The 3 position recline feature is great as is the height adjustment. I also noticed that it had many nicks and scratches which I felt was unacceptable for a brand new item. Some of the edges were also sharp and could easily scratch a young child. I contacted Fisher Price who immediately replaced the entire high chair tray assembly. While the second tray fit properly, it still had nicks and scratches and I was told by their customer support that this is standard due to their manufacturing process. Having said that, my granddaughter loves the toys that it came with, and I am happy with all of its adjustable components. I especially like that the seat can lower down to table height as this will come in very handy when she is older and wants to sit at the table. The high chair is completely mobile, folds compactly and takes up less room than others. I would definitely recommend this for grandparents for occasional use but not for parents who will need better support for their infant who is just beginning on solid foods. The attached toy is nice but not necessary. However, after reviewing about 20 different high chairs, I decided to buy this one for my grandson. After putting it together (an hour later) I realized that the tray on the front might be a problem. Well, it truly was. The tray never seemed secure enough to stay in place. It had to be snapped on and then it was difficult to slide back and forth. Besides the unsturdy tray, the back of the seat seemed to tilt backwards a little bit. Thus, my grandson never looked comfortable in it. So, I returned it to Walmart. The clerk was nice and allowed me to return it even though it was fully assembled. Food gets trapped under the cover in the parts of the seat where it attaches to the frame so we have to drag it outside every few days to wash properly with soapy water. Water gets traped in the mechanical parts of the tray underside after washing and goes everywhere if im not careful. It's also bulky which is a pain when trying to drag outside for washing. Ummm. It works as a highchair. The soft cover wipes clean. My highchair came with the toy loin that is on a plastic like cord and rattles, also came with the jungle animals toy console that clips onto the main meal tray. The seat cover and straps come off very easily for easy cleaning, the straps can be put through either the dishwasher or washing machine and the seat cover just goes into the washing machine. I'm very pleased with these features. The highchair is also on locking wheels, has multi-level seat function and one-handed tray removal.
