Food cooks much more evenly and less flare up. It really makes BBQing a much more pleasant experience and they do seem more substantial than the original grids that came with the grill.I do not understand why the stainless steel grids would disintegrate (looks like rust) when the rest of the grill looks great. I am guessing it has something to do to the higher heat next to the burners, but that is just a guess. The replacement grids look great and fit perfectly.Highly recommend, a bit expensive but overall well worth it!They are the drip grids that protect the gas burners from the drippings when you BBQ.
